OK, I'll be the bad guy...
The intention for creating this site was not for it to be a place that IWB vendors, hardware and software manufacturers, etc, could use to make product announcements and direct sales pitches. We've had a several of those sorts of product pitches in the last few days and I've tried to nicely point out to the people concerned that we would like to keep this site focused on its core purpose of allowing teachers to share ideas for better teaching with IWBs.… Continue

Ning is a terrific tool for this sort of thing. It allows blogging, discussions, media sharing and so on.
One thing it also enables is photo sharing. Originally, when I turned on the photo sharing, I was thinking it would be a good tool for showing each other some photos of how we use our IWBs in different ways. I uploaded a bunch of my own photos from various IWB situations to get the ball rolling.

This site has been created as a place for educators to have an ongoing conversation about the effective use of IWBs in the classroom. We aim to focus on the development of good IWB use, rooted in sound educational pedagogy.
As in any community, online or offline, the usual rules of respect and cooperation apply. Play nice, be kind to each other and share your stuff. Criticise without being critical. Disagree without being disagreeable. If we all do that, life will be good.
